Beat Their Ass At Home, So Teachers Won't Have To!
I know that some people don't think that we should use corporal punishment to disipline our children. But I for one happen to disagree with them.Ok, let's look at this story. The guy is being fired because he had an out of control little bitch get up in his face and he pushed her away.
Now I don't know about you but if one of those little shits got up in my face or tried to hit me I'd be busting their ass eight ways from Sunday!
But Tulsa doesn't allow corporal punishment, so what do you do? Just stand there and let the little outta control bastards beat the shit out of you? I live about 25 miles outside of Tulsa and my kids school still paddles their little asses. They send home a letter at the beginning of the year letting you decide whether or not you will allow the school to paddle your kids. If not then your kid will be suspended, well woopdee fuckin' doo they get a damn vacation instead of punishment.
To most kids just the threat of an ass bustin' will keep them in line. As a matter of fact there are a few kids that behave just fine without ever having to have their asses busted! But they are the minority. Now I'm not talking about abuse here, just a good ol' fashion swat on the ass to send them in the right direction. I love my kids very much, but they still need a swat on the rear every now and then!
Tell me what ya'll think about it, and if I've pissed anyone off well then you can tell me about that too! Come on, go ahead I can take it I promise. :D

I agree with you 100%.
Rarely did my dad beat my ass, but I knew he would, if I deserved it. I was scared shitless of getting in trouble for fear of an ass beating.
When I was in school in the 80's there was always a rumor that one of the teachers had a paddle. Guess what? Not one student ever saw the thing, they were scared to find out if the rumor was true. Suspension is a bunch of bull shit, although had I ever been suspended I would have been scared to death to go home!
I'm with you. I think it's a risky subject, but I know I was a naughty little shit and the only thing that kept me in line when I was young was a healthy (and small) dose of fear.
Heh. The threat was always enough for me. A little fear goes a long way, ya' know?
I don't think I want anyone but me busting my kids asses and I don't recall any of my schools ever threatening us with it.
I don't get it, though. The teachers shouldn't be forced to take bullshit from their students if they feel the least bit threatened. I would think they'd have the right to defend themselves if someone threw the first punch.
As for suspension, it's not so much a vacation because the kids are still required to stay caught up with all school work, even if that means doing it at home during their time off.
I'm honestly not sure if its still legal to smack your own kids over here in the UK any more. I know they were talking about banning it, I'm not sure if they did though.
I'm all for it if it keeps the little cunts off street corners and throwing bricks at pensioners.
I'm all for smacking them up a little when they misbehave. Apparently time outs are NOT working considering the kids are getting more and more out of control every year!
That's the major problem with kids today.

I just heard of a law suit pending about this guy who was stuck in traffic due to some construction workers.
The guy flipped off one of the workers, a policeman saw him and gave him a ticket yada yada he went to court, in which the case was dismissed.
The guy is sueing for the simple fact his civil rights were violated.
I mean come on..how is giving someone the finger a threating action. It's more of a statement correct?

If more people would stand up and be parents. The schools wouldn't have to raise them
I don't spank my kids and I would have a serious problem with someone else doing it. They do paddle kids in our schools but I have given instructions that mine are not to be touched.
As a UK parent, It is legal to smack but not to leave a mark.
I'm all for smacking but not for abuse.
nobodyyouknow- I've gotten the comment from one of our friends before "Oh your kids are angels!" and with her next breath I kid you not she said "I can't believe you spank your kids!" Duh!!! That's all I can say.
theladymuck- Yeah that's all it is just a lil' bitty dose of fear. It's not like I spank them for everything, just the real dangerous or stupid shit!
Jen- My mom didn't bust my ass and I have to admit I was a little shit! Now on the other hand my most favorite aunt busted my ass and I didn't get out of line with her very often! :D
belle- I requested that the school call me first if they want to paddle my kids. But that has never happened, because my kids have never gotten in trouble at school. Cause my heathens know if they get in trouble at school the shit will hit the proverbial fan at home! :D
fuckkit- You know it's just crazy for the government to tell you that you can't spank your own kids! The way I see it if they find someone abusing their kids, then fry their stupid asses!
Dawn- Time outs are bullshit! Ground 'em, spank 'em, take away playstation and stereos that's what really gets to them! But of course I'm just mean like that. LOL
delite- We are just a couple of mean ol' mammas! If the school wants to spank my kids then I have to be there to watch. I told them they have to call me if they want to spank my kids. I only live like 3 minutes away and I am a SAHM. So there will be no pervert getting their jollies paddling my girls!
anna- I can respect your point of view! But as a child whose parents chose not to spank me, I can't let my girls' develop the same kind of attitude that I had. The attitude I had was that I was untouchable. I was a mouthy, hateful little shit with no boundaries. I ran the streets and did pretty much any damn thing that I wanted. Which include partying, stealing, and a whole lot of other things that I had no damn business doing at the age of 13. My oldest daughter is 13 and there is no way in hell that I would ever let her do any of that shit. Sorry I got on a rant here, I'm not trying to question yours or anyone elses parenting skills here. I'm just pointing out the fact that MOST kids need some form of discipline from time to time.
tickersoid- I believe the UK has it right on that one. I don't leave marks on my girls when I spank. I don't want it to be painful, just a little bit of sting!
That picture reminds me of my Junior High Principal. He had a paddle just like that - with the hole in to cut down on wind resistance.
...I am 100% in favor of corporal punishment in schools. We had it and we didn't turn out so bad. But we respected "Black Betsy" as his paddle came to be known.
...For crying out loud, it's getting so bad parents can't punish their own kids!
Just last week I was almost screaming at the school principal for wanting to suspend my son AGAIN. How does this help the kids (don't all kids just love being off school?) I told him just give him 6 month worth of Saturday schools! That way, the kids have to get up at 7:00 am, be at school for 4.5 hours OF THEIR OWN TIME, plus, teachers get paid $60 per hour for being at Sat school.
BTW, my son was being suspended because he violated a previous suspension. He was on school property (after school had finished) and after his suspension had finished, meeting his friends. The school wanted to give him another 3 days!
Luckily, they agreed to let him do 2 Sat schools. Pah. I have no tolerance for teachers.
I was punished at home and NEVER EVER was rude to a teacher. We had teachers cane us, throw board rubbers at us, etc., I agree that teachers should be able to do something as kids are smart arses these days - but I still don't have time for teachers......
